The exhibition had the tile “The journey at the end of the night” by Celine. I was told to create a nocturne theme based on a literature work of my choice. While I was painting the candle in a starry night<\/em> I had in mind a couple of verses by Rabindranath Tagore.<\/p>\n

It appeared to me as something moderately hopeful, like the one wish we all needed for the coming year. We, the people, we are poetically dwelling on this earth.
