Thirteen years after the ‘exhibition in Agrinio’ in the Papastratou Brothers’ old tobacco warehouses, and nine years after the ‘unread forest’ at the Zoumboulaki gallery, Antonis Kioukas, son of Theoharis from Mykonos, uploaded two films he had made back then to the internet. Throughout the time in which he tended to the light and dark of my work with love and devotion, I saw those films mature too; I saw them find the savor and the distance that they required, just like the friendship that has accompanied us all these years. May they be sea-worthy on the voyage to infinity they’ve set sail on.
